Dark Matter DeFi: Charting a New Path Forward with Community Input
Dear Dark Matter DeFi Community,
As many of you may know, we have been attempting to regain control of the contracts from beluga.fi developer Chainvisions aka Crab for some time now. Good news is that he finally responded to our requests earlier this week and agreed to transfer the contracts. But, we must be cautious as false promises are a plenty and there is no guarantee that the transfer will happen. While we remain hopeful, we must also prepare for other solutions if necessary.
We have some exciting ideas to present to the community members who are still around, but some of these ideas are entirely dependent upon regaining control of the contracts. If we are unable to regain control, some of these ideas may not be possible. However, not all ideas are thrown out the window if we do not regain control.
We will give Chainvisions a couple of weeks to come through, and if he does not, we will present the ideas that do not require contract ownership. It is important to note that we still own the majority of other assets, including the web URL, GitHub, social accounts, and administrative accounts, so not all is lost.
One of our top and clear ideas is to move to a new chain, as we know that is what the previous team clearly desired. However, we want to be clear that the path forward will be forged by the community members who are still here and want to help us make some of the bigger key decisions.
Thank you for your continued support of Dark Matter DeFi. We understand that there is a lot of work to do in regaining the trust of the community. We are going to do that by focusing, developing, producing, and delivering.
